On 22 December 2022, the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) signed an Agreement on Scientific Cooperation with the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). The purpose of the agreement is to establish a framework for the development of cooperative programmes and projects of mutual interest, aimed at further strengthening collaboration in scientific research and development between CNR and JSI. The contracting parties promote scientific cooperation on joint-interest projects between researchers from CNR and JSI, ensuring fair and reciprocal contributions as well as mutual benefit.
As specified in the Cooperation Programme, proposals for joint scientific collaboration may be submitted in the following research areas: quantum science, artificial intelligence, health, biotechnology, nanostructured materials, and green energy.
