General Information
The Department of communication systems is concerned mainly with the research, design and simulation of terrestrial and satellite mobile communication systems, and the development of new algorithms for digital signal processing and for parallel computing.
Other research activities embrace the development of software tools for testing, modelling and simulation of communication systems, provision of security services in communication networks and development of distributed environments for computer supported co-operative work, teleworking, education of young researchers and transfer of knowledge and new technologies to industry.
